KidsPlace provides infants and toddlers with a safe,
secure, loving environment where they can experience the love of God
while parents worship or participate in other activities or events. |

Sonshine Island: Preschool
3 & 4 year olds
Children learn to praise God for all that He has made
and done. Each month a new Bible theme is introduced and the
children learn about Jesus through hands-on activities. They sing,
read Bible stories from big colorful books, explore learning
centers, make crafts, do activities and have prayer. In addition,
they also have times of free play and a snack. Each spring a flower
garden is planted so children can see God’s beauty in nature. |

AdventureLand: Elementary Children
Kindergarten - 5th Grade
This Children’s worship service is a place for kids
to
grow
in faith, wisdom, and friendship.
We want every kid to know:
- I can
trust God no matter what.
- I
need to make the wise choice.
- I
should treat others the way I want to be treated.
AdventureLand includes a large group time called
Power Up and is designed to engage children in worship. Music,
prayer, and an innovative approach to the Bible story are always a
part of this interactive time.
Catch On is our small group time
designed to help kids understand how the day's topic applies to
them. They will discuss real-life experiences, interact with a
close-knit group of peers, and participate in a variety of
activities that appeal to different learning styles.

Time in
Between- A Family Experience
Children Birth to Grade 5 and their families
The 2nd Sunday of each month, 10:20-10:50 a.m.
Parents have many more hours of influence on their child than the
church does. We want to help equip you by giving you an opportunity
to take the principles they are learning at church and apply them at
home.
The second Sunday
of each month from September to May (excluding December) in between
worship services from 10:20 - 10:50 am children from birth to grade
5 and their parents (note: all children must be accompanied by an
adult)
will meet in the multi-purpose center (the gymnasium) for
high-energy worship complete with a music and dance team, animated
virtue skits, life-changing teachings, and VBA style Bible Stories.

Studies in
Matthew
Studies in Matthew is an exciting "new" Bible study for children
grades K-5. Each week children will take an in depth look at the
Book of Matthew and learn how God's word applies to them and their
lives. The cost for the study book is $12.50. This study runs from
September 14 - March 28.
*The ROK (grades 6-8) meets at the same time.

Young
Believers: Roots, Shoots and Fruits Bible Study
3rd to 5th Grade
Discover what it
means to have a relationship with God through Jesus. During this
four-week session, children will discover what a believer is and
what happened when they received Jesus. They will also discuss the
Bible, the Holy Spirit and Prayer.

Vacation Bible Adventure: Summer Bible
Adventure |

3 Years
to Fifth Grade
Children love the excitement of
Vacation Bible Adventure! This high-energy, fun-filled Bible
adventure runs for five evenings in mid-summer and is followed by a
Sunday morning program during the adult worship service. Children
learn lessons based on exciting Bible stories, watch dramas and
skits, sing upbeat songs, memorize Bible verses, make cool crafts,
play games and eat snacks. Kids learn about God and have fun doing
it!

Indoor Playground |
|
|
|
| |
Kids Up to 6th Grade
The KidsPlace Playground is an indoor contained play
system that is
incorporated into the various classes and activities held at UVCC
throughout the week and on Sunday. The KidsPlace Playground and the
Kids Corner Play Foyer are available for birthday parties, team
parties and other events that allow UVCC to get to know the
surrounding community. The KidsPlace Playground is also available to
parents and children for free play at specified times. Have Fun!

Summer Camps
|
|
|
|
| |
 The
Northwest Ohio District Church of the Nazarene in St. Marys, OH
holds summer camps for children in grades 1-6 from June through
August.
Primary Camp (Grades 1-2) - 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 1- 12:30
p.m. Friday, August 3. Cost is $79 and includes meals, t-shirt,
snacks, and lodging. Registration deadline is July 18.
Middler Camp (Grades 3-4)- 4 p.m. Sunday, July 29 - 12:30 p.m.
Wednesday, August 1. Cost is $115and includes meals, t-shirt,
snacks, and lodging. Registration is July 15.
Preteen Camp (Grades 5-6)- 4 p.m. Sunday, August 5- 12:30 p.m.
Thursday, August 9. Cost is $135and includes meals, t-shirt, snacks,
and lodging. Registration deadline is July 25.
